The British government Suggest Can Only Fruit Juice Drink 1 time in 5 days

Many people assume that juice consumption is the same as fresh fruit. In fact, the juice contains more sugar than fiber so that the British government made new rules.Cited in Independent, Eatwell guide released by health authorities in the UK warns people should only drink one glass of 150 ml smoothies or juices. This is because the juice or smoothies have a high sugar content.

Thus, smoothies or fruit juice products should not claim that the same juice consumption by eating fruit. Typically juice packs sold with 250 ml portions mentioned can meet the daily requirement of vegetables or fruit 2 or 3 of recommendation 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day.

In fact, in one 250 ml bottle of juice contains about 30 grams of sugar. It is 100 percent of the recommended daily amount the average adult should consume.

The British government also has renewed "Eatwell Plate" that serves as a visual guide to how much of each food group should be consumed.

Previous guidelines released in 2014, placing images of soft drinks, cakes and chocolates laid out on a small section which implies this food can be eaten in moderation.

Newly released in 2016, version of the Eatwell Plate has removed part of the image of this sweet food and placed on the outside of the platter and given advice to eat less often in small quantities.

The new guidelines came along with the announcement of the sugar tax on soft drinks were introduced in the UK as part of an effort to combat obesity.
